Vanessa Guillen Autopsy Report
On July 2, 2020, prosecutors unveiled a charge in the case that alleged Specialist Guillen was slain by another soldier, who then attempted to dispose of her body.
The accused soldier was named as 20-year-old US Army Specialist Aaron Robinson in a federal complaint. Specialist Robinson shot himself in the head with a gun a few days before the charge was made public.

Officials from the Justice Department stated in court filings that Specialist Robinson claimed to Ms. Aguilar that he repeatedly hit Specialist Guillen with a hammer on the head, killing her, and then concealed her body in a sizable box.
According to the lawsuit, the pair then attempted to dismember and burn the remains.
Furthermore, on 24th May 2022, a report was released by the Texas Department of Public Safety stating that,
“Cecily later explained why Aaron killed Vanessa, saying Vanessa saw Aaron’s phone lock screen, which had a picture of Cecily. (Aaron) told her he was scared about getting in trouble for breaking the Army’s fraternization laws since Cecily was still married to another soldier, and he killed Vanessa with a hammer.”
