Hayek claimed that she did not go into their 15-year relationship because of the monetary potential in it, but instead, it was a pure case of falling in love.
The Oscar nominee revealed that when she married Pinault, there was harsh criticism from people who suggested the whole union was arranged.
Hayek said that after 15 years of being married to the billionaire, their union was still standing strong, reflecting their love for each other.
The movie star reportedly said that there was a general preconception about rich people. She remarked that most people think rich people do not have value or are not nice people, and she also felt that way when she first met the billionaire in 2006.
The actress said she was scared and even cried several times.
When she first met the billionaire, the actress said she felt he was not her type. Hayek revealed it took his charming personality to sweep those notions off her head and make her see him in a much better light and give love a chance.
During the podcast, Hayek went on to gush over her billionaire husband's personality and remarked that it was an insult to think she married him for financial gains.
The actress said that critics have only seen him in pictures but have never been close to him because if they did, they would have seen how charming he is.
Hayek attributed much of her growth to her man, revealing that he has helped her grow in a healthy way and has made her a much better person.
The "The Hitman's Bodyguard" actress gave further insight into her private life. She revealed that her husband was hard-working and had a busy schedule, but he knows how to spend quality time with his family despite his busy life.
The 54-year-old also dived into her career and revealed that she found it challenging to play the love scene in her break-out movie "Desperado."
Hayek said that there was no mention of such a scene at first, but later on, she was asked to do it. The actress said she was scared and even cried several times.
Hayek, who shares a daughter with her billionaire husband, said she was concerned that her father and brothers would see the scene and not feel too proud of her.
Hayek's husband, Pinault, reportedly has a net worth of $33 billion. He is also the CEO of Kering, which has lots of luxury fashion brands under it. To her fans, things worked out well for Hayek.
